Bald Ibis is ideally located within the Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate with an incredible view over the Escarpment.
2 bedrooms can be made up with either a king or 2 single beds, on request, while the other bedrooms are twins. All bedrooms are ensuite, and there is an additional guest loo. Two of the en-suite bathrooms have baths and showers and two have showers only. In addition, there is a large study with ample workspace and a queen-size sleeper couch (there is no en-suite bathroom for the study).
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including a fridge-freezer, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as all cutlery, crockery and cook-ware. There is a Nespresso coffee machine (guests to supply their own coffee pods).
A large wood-burning fireplace in the living room keeps the house warm on cold Dullstroom nights and firewood is provided. There is a separate indoor/outdoor braai area, suitable for use in all weather conditions, with a large dining table and a built-in braai. Stacking doors open to the large, well-maintained garden.
The house has a full DStv package, uncapped Wi-Fi and there is an inverter, solar panels and battery backup.
Highland Gate does experience load shedding; please consult Eskom se Push for up-to-date schedules. Kindly be considerate in your electricity usage during outages. Electrical appliances like ovens, hair dryers and irons do not work during these periods.
